Hi,fellow jaguar enthusiast! My name is mike montgomery.My wife & I are in the process of moving from Elkhart,IN to Indianapolis.We are members of 3 clubs: michiana brits,JAGIN,& suncoast british car club.
I have been infatuated with jaguars since I was 7.My wife calls it an illness,I call it a passion!Although I was a 5th grade teacher, I worked summers to fund college funds for our 3 children.Once they graduated,I kept working(& saving) to buy the cars I wanted.I am very fortunate to be able to own & DRIVE these cars.
The first is a 1950 xk120 I bought in 1973 with 19000 + miles on it.So, I have owned it for over 40 years.Unfortunately, I let it sit to much because of life.
Now, it's restoration is almost complete & I will be driving it again after 4 years. A lifelong process for me.
We also own a 1967 e-type coupe (series 1) for 4 years, a 1997 xk 8 convertible for 6 years,& a 2005 xj8l for 4 years. As I said,I feel very fortunate to own these cars.Especially when all my coaching buddies said I made it look like teachers made too much $. That's a joke!
