Hello All,
I'm thinking very seriously about joining the ranks of X100 owners but haven't made a purchase yet so I hope you don't mind me being here, not being an actual owner. But for 20 years, from 1975, I owned, loved, nursed (and suffered with) 3 Volvo P1800s and know how vital it is for one's sanity and bank balance to make the right purchase and I'm therefore determined to put into practice everything I learnt from that period. I hope you will help me.

About me, I live in Basildon in Essex, I'm 61, married, retired, play around with boats and now just about to do something extremely rash and buy an X100 XKR. Yes I know, boats and old cars - it's not so much a question of there won't be much left when I go, but more a case of whether it will last until I go. But at least I won't have to buy any more spanners ....
Paul
PS I've never posted in a forum before.

Welcome.

That would be enough suffering for any one lifetime, ha.

Good luck with the search.

Welcome aboard. I joined the forum years ago upon the purchase of my X100 XKR; I can feel your pain (and pleasure). The X100 forum is among the most active on JaguarForums, and you will get a tremendous amount of information wading through the posts there. It has saved me numerous times through my 162,000 miles. You will take great comfort in learning from everyone's experience. Good luck.
