Hello, just joined, I have a 1968 XKE drop top, S# 1E17160 - #'s matching, old English white, blue interior and black top. Daily driver, but in good shape for a girl just about to turn 50. Live in NJ, and you will spot her on the road every once in a while. Over the years, I have done the clutch twice (first time ~ 25 years ago - it was needed, second time 5 years ago, the throw out bearing went, no choice but to do it all again) while motor was out, put in new front and rear seals, milled the oil pan and re-sealed it, re-surfaced the flywheel, welded in Martin Robey floor pans (Front and rears) on both sides (previous owner snotted them up w/ Bondo), brake mater cylinder / vacuum booster replacements along w/ a few brake caliper re-builds as needed. Fun car to drive - I'll take some Pic's next time I have it out of the garage and Post.

Welcome to the forum Ken,
Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.
I can see you've already found your way to the E-Type forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.
Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
You can also visit the US Northeast Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/us-northeast-35/ to find other members in your region.
Enjoy the forums.

Thanks ElinorB, for some reason I forgot to mention all of the half shafts and drive shaft U joints that I replaced as well- probably attributed to amnesia, because they were a PITA to do. See ya around
