Hey all,

I'm Damian from Australia, i have recently recieved a 1956 mk1 2.4 manual with o/d as payment for a job i done.

Its british racing green needs rust and paint but luckily its complete and the interior has already been done.

It came with 2 sets of spats one full set and one odd set that i cannot seem to find any info about, they are open spats but have no lip and look factory done. Any info would be great unfortunately my car is 3000km away so only pics i have atm are the ones posted.

The engine is the 2.4 with upgraded twin SU carbs plus head to suit and dual exhaust.

You are not wrong there alot of places are climbing in price. I have done similar travelled all about australia but find the yorke peninsula most comfortable very cheap to live and being on 27 with a 1yo closer to family is what brought us back here mostly.
and that would be helpful thanks

Welcome to the forum Damian,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums. That must have been some job you did!

I can see you've already found your way to the
MKI / MKII S type 240 340 & Daimler forum with the spat question so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the Australia - South/NT Region forum by following this link Australia - South / NT - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum
to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham
