Default New Member - 1982 Jaguar XJ6 Series III

Hello forum members!

I have a 1982 Jaguar XJ6 Series III with a 5-speed manual trans. My Jag is old, but she runs strong and with the 5-speed and the euro specs, she's a joy to drive for a 4,000lb sedan, very smooth and silky! I'm looking forward to gleaning a wealth of info about the Jaguar cars and benefiting from the knowledge and expertise of the forum members on this site. My car has a few fixable issues relative to the 32 year age that I'm looking to resolve.

Welcome to the world of motoring.

As said a 5 speed is "special", and not easily found.

Thanks! I've owned my XJ6 for 17 years. The 5-speed in my Series III does transform the car and it is more of a sporty drive in comparison to an auto trans Series III. My wife wants me to part with it, but every time I take it for a spin, it rewards me with a unique driving experience! These cars have so much character!
