New member - 1st time Jag owner - 2009 XKR

Actually the car is the one one my son just bought, on my advice, but I will probably be doing all maintenance.

He got a 2009 XKR Porfolio with Alcon Brakes. 67k miles. Paid $13k before taxes. Service history shows that it was maintained at dealerships up to 65k

Some things that will need to be done:

3rd brake light not working
HVAC sometimes whistles
it was in a small front-end collision - so the bumper is not 100% aligned ok - will be taking it off this weekend
dash - it looks like it was preciously repaired - but the repair is now starting to not look good

It is a fun car to drive, and is one of the better looking and sounding sports cars I think.

I will provide more details later - maybe one of the Forum members will recognize that car.
