I just signed up for membership but I am a long time lurker. These forums are invaluable when sorting out car issues.
My son talked me into buying him a 1997 XK8 coupe about 4 years ago. A Nikasil survivor until last fall, it now sits waiting on me to swap the engine. We've also had the transmission rebuilt a few years ago and replaced about everything in the front suspension. The XK8 is a beautiful machine, especially the coupe, and I drove it every chance I got. The Jag addiction led to my purchase of a 2014 F-Type V8 S about a year ago. It has been trouble free until recently and I can't figure it out, hence my membership registration. My closest dealer is Omaha, NE and I don't know of any Indy shops in my area servicing Jags. I try to do most everything myself. Thank you to the forum members, moderators, and experts participating here. I know there are a lot of folks like me that find a ton of useful info here but rarely register to say thank you.
