Hi, I'm a new member from southern Minnesota. Bought a 2001 XK8 a couple months ago, Pacific Blue with just under 30K miles. Looking forward to learning more about the car here. Am considering doing the mod for raising the rear windows with the top down, but haven't wanted to take the time to tear into it just yet. No complaints so far, as car runs and drives superb.

You could always add the auto top drop unit at the same time.
In for a penny in for a pound as they say.
If you haven't done so already you should add your car details to your signature to help others to help you.

It's great to open an Intro and read 'no complaints so far, as car runs and drives superb'. Hope it stays that way.

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User ID button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You might also want to do the mod that allows the top to move without giving you a shower.
