Just wanted to say hello and own a 97 XJ6. Love the car and look forward to learning from posts on here. I am having a problem getting radio code for my car. I want to disconnect my battery and worried my radio won't work. Called dealer not much help there.

You will be very unlucky if your XJ6 has a coded radio. These were fitted to European specification Jaguars as standard but to very few US specification vehicles. I can only recall five reports of them from the thousands of US members.

Please add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

No, I wouldn't imagine a dealer would be much help with Anything to do with a 20 year old car. But they would Love to sell you a new one.
