Greetings from coastal NC. Just got my 2018 SVR convertible. I’m in love. Wanted an F-type from the first time I saw one in Road&Track. Dream finally realized.

Congratulations. SVR F-type is quite a beast.

This is very important. Check your engine oil. V8 F-type doesn't warn you about low engine oil. Unfortunately this means you have to check engine oil manually, through dash menu, as there is no dipstick.

Also important. Jaguar oil change interval is too long, especially so if you are going to take it on the track. It is very important to stay on top of engine oil changes and to use spec oil (and not just any 0w20) as a lot of components (hydraulic lifters, hydraulic chain tensioner, hydraulic timing adjuster) fail is you let them to sludge.

Last but not least. OEM P-Zero tires are junk. Getting into MPSS or MP4S will transform the way your car handles. Do it as soon as possible, as you will regret not doing it sooner. Also redo the alignment, there are too many issues reported with factory alignment.
