Thought I would say hi and introduce myself.
I'm based in the UK and have a 1969 Jaguar E Type series 2 2+2 in pale primrose which suits us down to the ground as my wife is partially disabled so the wider doors make it easier for her to get in and out.
Had the car for about 5 years and am now looking for an X150 XK or XKR (preferably the later 5.0 variant as I prefer the interior) for longer tours around Europe as the E Type is not great in hot weather as the cabin controls have a 'hot' and 'not quite so hot' setting only and no aircon.
Apologies in advance for any newbie questions regarding the XK X150 cars from me.

Welcome to the forums zaphod beeblebrox,

Good to have you with us.

I can see you've already found your way to the X150 forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues. You can also use the UK & Eire Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/uk-eire-68/ to find other members in your region.

Please read the guidance for new members ( https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/n...ned-up-241802/ ) which answers many of the most frequent questions about getting started.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham

Thanks for welcoming me Graham. The 'how-to' thread in the X150 section does indeed look to contain a wealth of useful information as you rightly pointed out.

Hello,
WOW What a coincidence! No fewer than THREE E-type owners joining us in a single day!
This must be a Record of some sort.

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.
