Hello from Edmonton Canada. I have just acquired a 1999 XK8 coupe and a 2007 XK coupe. Its going to be tough to decide which one to drive. It looks like I will have to repair the headliner in the 99 and will be looking for advise on how to fix it.

Why two jags, well there are two of us involved. Luckily the other person is quite a good mechanic of sorts. The 99 jag is my start with the Xks but I am worried about reliability so eventually wanted a newer XK

Must have been a Jag sale in Edmonton.

 

The 99 Jag was bought in Pittsburg and driven back to Kelowna BC where it is now and the 07 Jag is in Charleston SC where I have to go now and take delivery. The plan is to drive it to Los Angeles and straight up the coast to the Vancouver BC area. Long trip but what a better way to see the beautiful USA. A 3700 mile trip, do you think we can make it with no problems?
