I used to live in a place called ruislip there was an american base there a long time ago i think it was the 80s if you know where heathrow airport is located ruislip is around 7 miles away
I would love to live in the USA but i could not afford the medical insurance unlike the uk
what part of the UK are you from ??

we have an eclectic mix from all over so you've come to the right place.

 

Was born in Bedford but I grew up in Wellingborough, about 60 miles north of London. I'm familiar with Ruislip - I lived in London the last few years before I came here. You're right about the medical insurance. I'm only in my 30's and it costs a fortune. I used to travel back for NHS dental work! However, so many other things here are cheaper. I haven't been back to the UK for a few years now. My daughter is turing 6, so I think maybe later this year I'll bring the family for a trip.
