Hi All. Now driving my third X-Type. Two previous were company cars. First a 2 ltr petrol, second a 2 ltr diesel. Liked them so much I bought one just before I retired. 2.2d SE. 55 plate with 62,000 miles on the clock.

Wife loves the heated seat. Is that a girly thing? Makes me feel like I'm sitting in tub of hot water.

Does not turn in as well as the petrol car but the extra tourqe more than makes up. I find the average fuel consumption of the bigger diesel is same as the smaller diesel. Better on a run, slightly worse in town.

Living a few miles from Reading, Berkshire (England). No plans to move as children live close by. No child seat so unable to take grandchild out in car. Plan to keep it that way.

Anyone know where updated maps for Jaguar satnav can be purchased? Main dealers over charge.

Heated seats? Must be - I've had them in my last three cars and never used them!
