I had joined the Jaguar Forum a few years back and thought I had all the bugs resolved. Seems there is always something wrong.

Purchased my 1999 Jaguar/VandenPlas/4door in 2001 .It Had 23,000 miles

My problem at the present is a "blow back" that my mechanic hasn't been able to resolve. Burning oil and the garage floor is messy.
The Stability Control & Failsafe Engine Mode have been repaired but now, are not working again.

I moved to New Mexico from Baltimore, Md. in 2005. Brought it here on a flatbed with 36,000 miles on it. Now has 95.000.

I would appreciate any information that anyone has pertaining to the oil problem mainly. There is a new Jaguar Club in Albuquerque that I will join and hopefully get some help there as well as here on the Forum.

Looking forward to reading other Jaguar posts.

Welcome to the forum maggiedozie,

(I've deleted your eMail address - not a good ideal to show it in a public forum)

Follow this link XJ ( X308 ) XJ8 / XJR - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the X308 section for advice and information. If you have codes available, post them there for help with the burning oil issue..

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User ID button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the US Southwest Region section by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/southwest-us-az-tx-nm-ok-37/ to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forum.

Graham

Thanks so much for the instructions. Rather pathetic but I don't know how to operate the computer. I did go to the Jaguar Club and the CEO of Malloy Jaguar has offered to look into my problems. Hopefully I can find some information on the Forum as to why the window and CD player do not work and the ABS and Stability Control Fail lights are on.
