Default Got a Jag at last - but a small problem

Hi Folks, my brother always taunted me that I would never be able to afford a Jag, well I have now proved him wrong. It's only an 03 reg S-type Auto 3.0 but I love it, except one small gripe. If I leave it on my driveway for a week or more, the park brake sticks on and I really have to give it some welly before a loud clunk releases the rear brakes. It's fine if I drive it every day. On manual cars, I always used to leave them in gear with the handbrake off, but I can't find a way to do this with an automatic. If I leave it in gear or neutral, I can't remove the key. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Welcome to the forum Fozzie,

Congratulations on the S-Type. Got to get this park brake issue sorted so your brother has no chance for an 'I told you so' moment.

Thanks for all you advice guys. I have now managed to park it with the brake off. That should fix the problem until its next service. It won't roll away as my drive is quite flat but I have chocked a wheel just in case.
