Hi, I'm proud to be able to greet you all and to say I'm finally a Jaguar owner. I've wanted to own a Jag since 1965 when I was 25 years old. I am the proud owner of a 2005 xj8L black with tan interior and the entertainment center for my daughter. I purchased my dream car about three months ago and I absolutely love it. The ride is about the best I've experienced in all my years. I'm 72 and consider this to be my retirement gift to myself. With anything used, there are issues you inherit and my dream car has its set of issues. I've learned quite a bit from the forum regarding air suspension problems and how cold weather causes certain things to happen to this system. I'm hoping to be able to contribute as much to this forum that I, so far, have gotten from your many comments relating to many issues. I'm excited about the opportunity of getting with you gentlemen and ladies about this beautiful machine. I'll need information on the best tires, HID conversion, power/MPG performance for a xj, coolant informaiton, tranny servicing, and of course the air suspension system and components. Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
