G'Day,

Just purchased a 1987 Vanden Plas with 70,000 km, I am second owner. The car is in excellent condition with no real issues except recharge of AC. Anyway any tips on ownership appreciated.

Welcome to the forum Chuck,

For a 1987 I'm wondering whether you have a late Series III or an early XJ40 as both were manufactured in that year.

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
