Hi everyone.
Mi name is patricio, live in buenos aires argentina.
I own a jaguar xjs 1988 automatic.
The gearbox is broken.
Need to replace it.
Looking for help in order to buy one and bring it to argentina.
Any kind of help/assistance is highly appreciated.

I can see you've already found your way to the XJS forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.
Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Your XJ-S NOW an XJ6, is what is known as an XJ40 in Jaguar talk.
2 different transmissions fitted to the XJ40.
3.6ltr had a ZF 4HP22. This should be yours.
4.0ltr had an electronic 4HP24. I doubt the 1988 has a 4ltr.
