New Member from AU
Hi, I have been the proud owner of my first Jaguar for just on 72 hours so I felt it was time to put up my first post on Jaguar Forums.
The regency red 420 auto has moved home from the Eastern Blue Mountains to the Western Blue Mountains in the State of NSW Australia.
I am looking forward to this coming Monday when I hope to complete the vehicle registration and get her out onto the road.

It took you 72 hours, REALLY????. Just kidding.
WELCOME to Jaguar world.
The MIGHTY 420, that is a REAL car, PHOTOS when you can PLEASE.
Drop by the Australian NSW/ACT section, and say Hi as well, and Ken will slide by eventually and do what he does best.

Greetings Chris, and warmest welcome to the Jaguar Forums via the NSW&ACT region.
You have me intrigued ... about your location in the "western Blue Mountains". The fire-breathing 3L Mk1 (ex-2.4) in my avatar dates from years living and working across the western Blue Mountains, based in Lithgow. In fact, my avatar pic shows the Jag outside my in-laws home at Katoomba over 40 years ago, and many weekends we spent roaring up the Forty Bends Hillclimb course (now gone) in our Jag specials.
You will find plenty of knowledge, resources and assistance in model specific forums here, but I do encourage you to post in the Australian regional sections ... I am not the only Mountain Man you will find yourself surrounded by. I know of many members with an interesting array of fine Jaguars from Penrith to Orange. Jump over using the links below ... shout hello ... by diving in, I know you will enjoy.
Best wishes,
Ken

Hi Chris, Welcome to the forum. I see Grant and Ken have pretty well covered the Australian side of things. Here is a link to the specific forum for your car.

Thank you both for the warm welcome. 40 bends hillclimb is something I would have very much loved to have seen. I know that most of the bends have been (so called) improved by the RMS and it provides us all with a better road to travel on but any section of highway that has a history of motorsport competition should be marked in some way.
