Just bought a 2002 XK8 convertible on 4/2/2015 and I am so excited to become part of this forum.

I have been wanting to buy a performance convertible in my retirement for the last couple of years

Was looking at corvettes and camaros but came across the XK8 on the Edmonds website and fell in love with its looks.

Was a little concerned about reliability/maintainability of these vehicles, but found this forum as a guest and was floored by the passion and knowledge of the folks here. In this forum I found most of the problems encountered with the 2002 to look for and then came across an XK8 with only 57000 miles and that had been serviced for Most of its life at a local Jaguar dealership.

This car rocks- only issues were the last 2 years it had been auctioned a couple of times and seems to have been a dealer car, with smokers issues. I have already begun mitigating that problem. It is a luxury rocket that handles great!

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
