I am Frank G. I purchased a 2002 x-type 2.5l at a heavy equipment auction. It was an impulse buy, did not even know if it ran!(thank godit did) My wife loves it, so it is a keeper.

Welcome to the forum Mr Wire. I've heard X Types called a lot of things, but 'Heavy Equipment' has to be a first.

Thanks for the warm welcome. I have been doing alot of reading, and am going to change the plugs, and the 4 O2 sensors. Are the plenum/intake orings/gaskets the same for the 2.5l and the 3.0? Hope so. Going to do the work tommorrrow.

the car is a light blue. I Don't know the official color name.
