New member and first Jaguar owner.
A little bit about my user name: First name Al, last name starts with Po. Not very hard to figure out, right? I was working at a restaurant with another person named Al, and his last name started with P also, so to draw a distinction he became Al P and I was Alpo.
I’ve been a long time fan of Jaguars, but this XF that I’m picking up tonight will be the first one I’ve owned. I’m looking forward to any helpful tips this forum can provide because paying dealership prices for repairs is something I’m not in a position to afford😂 Besides, I love working on my own cars!

Hadn't had a dog since I was a teenager and you made me remember feeding her ALPO. Now we know what was the secret ingredient in the soup at Al & Al's Restaurant.

But no matter how many tips you earned for that soup, its sadly looking like you won't have to worry about paying Jaguar dealership prices for service for much longer anyway. Luckily this forum is home to a lot of DIY'ers.
