New Member from Florida
I just picked up my very first Jaguar - a 2011 XKR Coupe in Salsa Red with only 22K miles!! I’m in central Florida near Ocala and had to drive almost to Miami to snag this one (a four hour trip each way). Totally worth it, and that drive home put a huge smile on my face the whole time. And I was pleasantly surprised to see the XKR get an average of 24.6 mpg with the cruise set just a little north of 70mph. I was expecting much worse!
Hello,
Congratulations on your First Jaguar!
Driving it home is the Only way to go if you can do it. It starts the Bonding process between you and the car; as in, the car gets to know you as much as you get to know the car. 4 hours one way is a good start.
