Hi all,

I recently bought my first Jaguar, a 1985 XJS. It ran when I got it but not well at all so the first order of business has been to drain the fuel tank and rebuild the injection harness, get injectors cleaned, new fuel lines, etc. Haven't had a chance to drive it much at all and I'm looking forward to getting it ready to go.

Very much enjoy the XJS forum and have found some great information already. I'm sure I'll have some specific questions at some point. Great to be here.

As you've already found your way to the XJS tech forum, there's no need for a link from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top there is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Thanks, all. Plowing through my initial tasks which I would be able to get done much more quickly if I could spend all my time working on the car. That'd be nice but the real world has more in store for me than that. I'll post a thread over in the XJS forum before long with an update on my progress (or lack thereof). Appreciate the forum and the responses.
