New Member Introduce myself
New owner of a 2005 Jaguar XK8 Convertible. Seafrost Metallic, Cashmere Interior, Brown top. I have always...always wanted a Jag convertible. I settled on a 1979 Alfa Romeo Spider and completely restored it because it reminded me of an XKE from the 60's.
Knowing I would not afford one, I began looking for a close one. However this XK8 exceeds my expectations. I desired an elegant refined personal performance car my wife and I could enjoy. This one fullfills the niche perfectly. Actually I now wouldn't want to have the XKE in comparison. I have left the Alfa Forums since I am no longer an owner or contributor. I found a new home. Looking forward to getting to know a bunch of you. Best, Robert Gifford. Nature coast Florida. (Hudson, Tampa area.)
