New Member Introduction
Hi, my name is John and I am a new member.
I am a retired professional mechanical engineer ( Marine ) but spent the 40 years prior to my retirement in Management.
I have owned, for the past 7 years, a 2001 Jaguar XKR convertible 4000cc with 80000 miles.
This is my forth Jaguar, having previously owned an XJS, XJ6 and an 'S' type.
I enjoy driving and maintaining my vehicles but at the age of 66 years, I am not so active underneath.

I rarely see another XK8 on the roads in Tyne & Wear.
Follow Steve's link to the XK8/XKR section for advice, information and to post your own contributions. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top there is a good place to start for info on regular issues. If you can't find the answer to your problem, start a new thread in XK8/XKR section.
Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
