New Member, it's an honor!
Hi everyone!
This looks like a really good place, it's an honor be be welcomed into your forum. One glance around this place shows me that the members are filled with a passion for their cars, I love that aspect, lots of enthusiasm.
I'll be honest, this is bittersweet for me as my mother has given me the option of purchasing or selling my late fathers 1995 XKR Jaguar. One part of me says, yes, I want to be a part of this culture, the other part says that a Jaguar might be difficult for someone who owns 3 Pontiac Fiero cars.
First things first, it's a 1995 XKR so which sub forum should I be directed to?
Thank you for your welcomes!

Hey DK, welcome aboard one of the friendliest sites around
Good to have you here with us .......Sorry to hear about your fathers passing......would be really cool tribute to keep her in the family! One helluva car you got there as you obviously know

There's some great guys / techs here and always plenty going on, great info and usually plenty of banter.
I've manually upgaded you to full forum access so jump right in and enjoy
Thank you for the warm reception, kind words and the upgrade.
I've got the VIN number at home, will do a search of the forum for a vin decoder and determine exactly what I've got after I get home from work today.
I will say this, she started right up on the first hit of the key, let her warm up a bit then put the covers back on for a few more weeks until winter is over. Nothing like a battery tender to keep the juice up.
I can see how folks develope an affection for these little cars.

Welcome to the forum!
Oh one other thing you need to put your car details in your signature. I am speaking of the Year, Make & Model. Without it you may not get the input you are looking for.
Please take a moment and read the information provided to you explaining the rules. Be patient and enjoy the site.

Welcome aboard DK, sorry to hear about how you came about your Jag, but if you do keep it, I would think he would be pleased.
Simple, 2 doors = XK.
4 doors = XJ.
Going to guess that you have XJR. Gorgeous cars and one day maybe, just maybe....
Unless X or S Type (but you would know that).
And for Vin decoding simply select the appropriate model and year for your car from the VIN section of any of the forum FAQs.
