Hey Everyone. My son and I are new members of the Jaguar family and wanted to introduce ourselves to the forum..especially before posting a question that someone has had to come across.

My son just turned 17, and I was able to score a pretty good deal on a used 2004 Jag X Type 3.0L AWD (Black w/Tan interior). Has 133,200 miles. Overall car looks in very good condition, drives extremely well, and most importantly to my son for his first ride...it looks sweet! It has some quirks, but hey its a first car.

I just want to say thank you to this forum. I've been reading tons of posts for days and there is a lot of great info here, and I've already put some of this info to good use.

Welcome to the forum Paul,

Good to hear you've already found useful information here. That probably means you don't need a link to the tech section but if you do, follow this link X-Type - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the X-Type section for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top there is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You may also like to visit the US Mid Atlantic Region section by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/mid-atlantic-md-va-dc-de-wv-65/ to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forum.

Graham

Thx for the info. I was wondering how to put those details in the signature. Hopefully I've done it correctly and I should be able to tell with this reply.
