Some how I did not introduce myself and missed out on saying hi to everyone.

I have a 2001 XJR in British Racing Green and Oatmeal combo. I bought it in 2006 in Texas with 43k miles and it now has 89k miles. I live in Joliet, Illinois, just a little southwest of Chicago.

As an FYI I am looking for a Jag Mechanic to do a side job of replacing my tensioners if anyone knows of one.

I joined this forum in August of last year after my car was in storage for 4 years. This forum has proved to be fantastic and love how everyone is so willing to help out. I know I have belonged to other Jag forums in the past, but was out of the scene for a while, I don't remember their names.

I have owned many many cars including but not limited to, American muscle cars, Japanese, German and now British.

Thank you for all the help past, present and future and I hope I can contribute as much as I have received.

Chris

Welcome to the forum Chris,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

No need for links to the X308 tech section or the US Mid West Region as you already know your way around.

Enjoy the forums.
