Hello all,
Just signed up on the forum after procrastinating for a long time….. I'm currently living and working in the Motor City, Detroit, but was from England originally….been here since 1989….wow time files by quick. I have loved jags since the first time a white E-Type was parked outside our house….love at first sight….always promised my self to get a Jag "when I grow up"….fast forward to today and have still not pulled the trigger to get one….mid life is calling, but the bank manager (Misses as home)….still asks why do you want a Jag, when you still have 2 girls in college to pay for…they just don’t get it….
I am seriously looking as XJS's…a 95 or 96 6 cylinder 4.0L…British racing green or Rose Gold….with a good service record and low miles…..not many about though….my ideal would be a one or two owner which has had a good home and looked after…….
Any tips and helpful suggestions in what to look out for, from this forum would be appreciated….
Cheers,
Ilfordboy.

Hi Ilfordboy, I can't see that you would get many complaints if you go for a 95/96 X300, they have a reputation for being reliable.
