Hi Folks,
Well I've finally realized a lifelong dream! Today I picked up my first Jaguar - a 2004 S-Type V8. Am I ever stoked!!! I went to see another S Type on Monday but it had far too much road rash. Walking through the dealership, they had a mint, and I mean MINT 2004 S-type sitting in the show room. With only 55,000 kms on it, she was barely broken in!
So today I drove to Toronto, turned in my Toyota Tundra pickup truck and picked up this beauty of a Jag! I have to honestly say it was the first time in my life that I didn't mind being stuck in rush hour traffic - I didn't want to get out of her.
I appreciate all of the valuable info on the site and look forward to talking about Jags with the fellow members.
Rob

Another Canadian owner. Yes! Sure would like to see pictures of that mint S-Type. If you can't get out of her you could always just take interior shots.

Welcome Rob/Spitfire, you'll need to get out of it eventually, if only to add fuel, oh and at the same time take some pics.
I'll certainly get some pics up on the site shortly.
After getting home last night, I plugged the block heater in to keep her warm overnight.
This morning I tried starting her and she barely rolled over. Took her in and discovered the block heater is pooched! Doh!
Looks like it didn't take long to spend some money on the Jag!

I've got a bunch of questions, but I'll post them over in the S Type forum section.
