My dad owned two Mark II’s when I was a kid. He’s also owned an XJ6C and currently drives and X-Type. I’ve been around Jaguars for as long as I can remember.
My wife and I have owned an S-type for several years. It’s my wife’s car and she loves it. It’s been a trouble free and enjoyable car, but she hates driving it in snow. We picked up a low mileage 2004 X-Type. Unfortunately it hasn’t been trouble free. I’ve posted that on the X-Type forum. We traveled through an Iowa blizzard last week and the AWD was great.
We still have the S-Type, so I imagine the X-Type will have to find a new home.
