New to this forum with my first Jaguar. I've owned Austin-Healeys Triumphs, and Land Rovers before and now a 1962 3.8L MkII with the 4-speed overdrive. We currently have two Fiat 500s, a 1996 Discovery,a 1972 Series 3 88" Land Rover, and a Subaru Forester. I do the wrenching on all of them. I have a well-equipped garage with all the usual tools plus a lathe, mill, and two welding machines. I retired in 2019 after rebuilding pumps, compressors, and steam turbines in a refinery for forty years. The Mk II I bought had been in storage for 20 years so I have a lot of work to do to get it on the road. It was supposed to have been running when it was put in storage. After I removed the bolt that holds the harmonic balancer on the crank by hand,

My '62
I decided to rebuild the motor. The body is real good shape as is the interior. I'll be asking many questions during while rebuilding the car.
