Hi guys/dolls,

I'm Ron, a new member (obviously). From when I was a little boy, I told myself that one day I wanted to own and drive my own Jag. Last march, shopping around for just A car, I stumbled upon a '99 S-type Jaguar. Not the Jaguar I had in mind 30 odd years ago but nevertheless ...
Bought it for a fair price and have since been the (slightly proud) owner of said car.
I haven't had any major problems with the car, except for the altenator, which I had to renew and recently the gear box, which I messed up myself.
The gear box problem is the reason why I ended up on this forum.

I will open a new thread shortly to try and explain the problem I'm having at the moment. Hopefully someone can help me out.
