Over the past fifteen years there's been an attempt to build from ground up an scca e modified autox griffith 400 that meets the minimum weight of 1850 lbs with driver. A diff needs to be selected before the frame layup can continue. The 8.8 looks to be a viable option except for the cost of used mustang cobra or heavy duty after market axle parts, ouch. The distance between diff and knuckle cv's is 8" so reducing cv width is also desired. Any advice and direction welcome.
Thanks,
Kevin
