Hi, I live in Scituate, RI and I'm in search of an early Jag from 1956 to 1967. I just found this site and think it will be quite useful in my search for a Jaguar Mk I or Mk II and information about these cars. I have been a little British car fan for a number of years, owning a 1954 MG TF since 1995 and an MGA Mk II 1600 since 2005. At a recent MG gathering one of the members showed up with a Jaguar Mk I and I was immediately smitten with it. I have been on a quest for either a Mk I or II since but with a preference for the 3.8 Mk II with manual transmission and overdrive. If anyone has some helpful tips on where to best find one and what to look for on these cars, particularly specific trouble areas to be aware of I would be grateful. That type of info may already be included in the forum but I've just started to explore the site and haven't come across it yet. Thanks for any help or suggestions.

Welcome to the Forums.

LOTS of info, both sides of the coin, in the various Model Tech Section down the Home Page.

Take a cruise, heaps of reading.

Good luck.
