Default New Member Rory Tallahassee Florida

I have a 2000 Jaguar S-type 3.0 I broke the Gear Shift plastic mechanism, I took everything off but I can't get the steel ball insert out of the transmission or gear shift cable and I don't want to do anymore damage. can someone plesase help me with the procedure to get the mechanism ball out from the transmission cable? Thanks.
