Hello everyone, I recently picked up a 2004 STR. Owner was gonna send it to a scrap yard and I saved it.
I have my own hobby shop in Bothell and I fix/modify cars for side hustle.

Car runs and drives, believe one of the previous owner hit a curb pretty hard and screwed up the front suspension quite a bit.
And basically every body panel has dents on it. hood, all 4 doors, front and rear bumper.

Rather easy fix, well to me at least >.>
There was another 2004 S type with blown motor with clean exterior for sale so I picked that up as a parts car. Both cars are same color from same year so it's going to match real good!
(This also means part out for Northwest peeps.. Perfect black interior available with working sat/nav)

Put it up on alignment rack and driver side has positive camber. Going to replace entire front suspension (subframe/ spindles/ shocks/ control arms etc) from the parts car.
Should be fun. Looks beat up from outside, but interior is brand new condition.

Car seems to be running healthy, no misfire or check engine lights.
Just ordered new wheel for the busted wheel, gonna start dismantling parts car soon. My Porsche fuel pump went out so had to fix that real quick.

Excited to join new forum.

I'm looking for STR front grill! For god's sake I can't source one!

Hello, William,
Congratulations on your new Jaguar project!
One thing about driving around in a dented up car, others on the road think you have nothing to lose so they stay out of your way! LOL

You also probably won't notice the next dent!

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.

Welcome to the forum William,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

I can see you've already found your way to the S-Type forum so there's no need for a link to it from me.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the US Northwest Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/us-northwest-64/
to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.
