We have owned Jags for going on 8 years. Our first was a 1995 XJ6 VDP which we had for over six years. Sold it locally and went to Denver to pick up a one owner 2004 XJR. Our youngest daughter is turning 15 in October and I am already looking for a 1995-97 XJ6 for her. I regret selling the '95 now. They are much safer and get just as good mileage as a used RAV4 or Honda CRV. We operate a small business selling shipping and packaging supplies. Getting smaller due to the economy but managing to survive. We all love the XJ series cars.
Good luck in your search, Kyle......but NO WAY you can have it back... even for such a noble cause!
When I get home this evening, I'll send you some ads of ones that have popped up locally....relatively speaking...you maybe already have radar hits on 'em though...

Please continue to post and accept my welcome to the forum.
Oh one other thing you need to put your car details in your signature. I am speaking of the Year, Make & Model. Without it you may not get the input you are looking for.
Please take a moment and read the information provided to you explaining the rules. Be patient and enjoy the site.

Thanks for the welcome. Zane, glad to hear about happiness with the VDP. I am allowing plenty of time to acquire a great car for my daughter, Hopefully a local car would be a first choice. Prefer Southwest area or CA. Too many Florida cars started in the Northeast. I was advised early on that Jags did not do as well in the colder climates. I guess it depends on how it has been cared for. Each new day brings opportunities.
