Hello everyone,,
I became the owner of a sweet S-type V6 2000. Already I have found numerous good tips and much valuable data of my vehicle here at forums. Sure there are parts that need maintenance, but as nearly 20 yo dame, that's been on the road for 330000 km here in Finland, it's quality really shows. Engine was changed 100000 ago due the mistakes of the previous owner. Ride is smooth but a few problems. Is there a way to program key fob to lock all the doors on one button? Now only front doors are locked on first push of a button. It makes very little sense.

Welcome to the forums Jawline,

Good to have you with us.

It sounds like you've already found the relevant model forum but if not, follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/s...ed-v8-x200-15/ to the S-Type forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues. You can also use the Europe Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/europe-42/ to find other members in your region.

I've added vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. If you want to amend these, go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham

From one S-type owner to another... Welcome. The S-type forum is populated with a very friendly group and contains a wealth of knowledge. Enjoy!

On your question, my X202, S-type locks all four doors on the first push of the remote, so it is most likely tied to a setting which requires the Jaguar IDS software to configure. Some settings are market specific, for instance North American models are not equipped with "deadlocking" but British models are set up this way...
