hi. i'm John from Stockport, Cheshire. I've had a 1969 Daimler V8250 since 1985. Although it was used for several years the dreaded rust has taken hold and it now needs lots of work. I also have a LHD Mk1 Golf, which I have had for 11 years. Also in the garage is a 1996 Yamaha 900 which is my main transport for the nicer part of the year. I do all my own maintenance and repairs, only occasionally seeking help and advice when I get stuck! I look forward to learning much from this website.

Welcome to the forum John,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

The Daimler 250 was rare in its day and even more so now. Well worth restoring.

I can see you've already found your way to the
MKI / MKII S type 240 340 & Daimler tech section so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the UK Region forum by following this link UK - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum
to find other members in this country.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham
