Hi everyone,

Another new Jag owner/new member of the forum post! Recently bought a 2007 X-Type 2.2D Sport Premium saloon and this forum seems to be about the busiest for Jags (though there don't seem to be many members this side of the pond?).

Anyhow it's quality not quantity that counts....

You don't list whereabouts in the UK, now if you were anywhere near Glasgow..

 

Thanks for the welcome (and quick replies!). I'm not too close to Glasgow unfortunately - Surrey, in fact! Have been an MG man previously (still have my '66 MGB GT) and reluctantly traded in my MG TF 160 for the Jag. Very different cars (obviously!) but one of the things that drew me to Jags is that it's one of the few marques that still has enthusiast owners like MG.

X type 2.2 diesel sport premium...nice car....frugal on the uel and plenty of power too - good mix
Used to have the 2.5V6 X type myself...great car and that was an 02, so yours will be better still with the flaws worked out.
