I just purchased a 03 X-type, 64k miles, met pacific blue. Very impressed with it, beautiful interior, power, colour, build quality...I just moved from the 406 coupe, another fabulous looking car but unfortunately the diesel is riddled with problems so I converted back to petrol.

Its great to be here, looking forward to reading and learning more about these beautiful machines here!

Thanks guys, already got loads of great info. Getting it resprayed and polished tomorrow (the front bumper is covered in stone chips) and going to refurb the alloys over the weekend. This is a fantastic site!
