Good morning all,
My name is Rich Elkins and My wife and I have just purchased our first Jaguar. It is a 2000 xk8 Convertible in the Topaz color with a light (Cashmere?) interior and tan top. We live in south Mississippi on the Gulf Coast. I have driven either British or Italian cars for most of my life. From my first car a 1964 MGB bought not running at 15 years old up to now I enjoy refurbishing and driving old sports cars.
This will be my first effort at "computer driven/ operated cars" I have some background in electronics so I hope the transition will not be too difficult.
I would like to thank all the tech experts here in advance as I am sure I will be desperately seeking your advice and counsel.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You're welcome, unfortunately most seem to overlook the links as provided by Graham, myself and the rest of the mods in the intro welcome.
This is a shame because there's just a ton of useful info all available at a glance.
You especially have some amount of reading to do on the XK8 as its one of the best sections around
