I just acquired my first Jaguar, a 2004 XJR with 85,000 miles. It came from my wife's uncle who pretty much has has a fleet of Jags. It includes but is not limited to, a 1966 XKE that he bought as a Graduate student in 1968, a 2008 XKR and another 2005 XJR. After owning a 2002 Audi A6 Avant and a couple of Mercedes I have somewhat of an idea of the financial pain of owning older vintage European cars. I just hope this one isn't any worse.
