Default New project car, 98 xjr.

Just picked up a 1998 xjr as a new project car, It needs a lot of TLC but for the price I couldnt say no. I will be building the car in to a more VIP inspired look, and will be starting a build thread soon, already have the interior out being retrimmed.

Here are some pictures of my last project 1997 Q45.

Personally, I don't think a massive aero kit and drastically negative camber will look good on an XJ.

Massive aero is not possible with these cars, and neither is such camber without copious amounts of custom fabrication. Car will get subtle aero later on down the road if I am not happy with how it looks with stock aero.

Default nice

What's the hood ornament on the Q? Also, do the rear tires wear out fast set up like that?

It is the OEM ornament off the elusive JDM "President" Variant of the Q45. And yes the tires wear out faster, but you can also just take them in and have them swapped side for side after 7-8k miles and they are good for another 7-8k easy.
