Hi all. Just a quick hello and introduction. My last jaguar was an XJ6 in 1993 - it was 7 years old when I bought it and it very nearly put me off Jaguars for life! However, I've been lucky enough to be handed down my step-father's x-type. Nothing fancy but with only 29k miles on the clock and forever garaged I could not say no. I am absolutely loving the car on first impressions...so thought this forum would be a good place to hang out if / when any problems arise =)

Welcome to the forum,

Fingers crossed your second attempt with Jaguar is less fraught.

Follow this link X-Type - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the X-Type section. Plenty of help and advice available there. Not that anything will go wrong this time!

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User ID button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Welcome to the forum,

Good to have you with us.
Sounds good. Enjoy the car.

If you haven't done so already you should add your car details to your signature to help others to help you.

Thanks for the welcome guys . I used to visit this forum years ago when I was considering an XK8 - that was before my financial circumstances (along with many others!) changed for the worse =/. I guess I better get busy with the signature.... thnx again.

Many thanks Jim =) and thanks again all for the warm welcome. I am UK by the way, if I didn't make it clear. I bought my baby Cat from my father in law - it can only be described as 'mint'...just 30k miles in 10 years. I waxed her today...48 hours and I have fallen in love <3
