Hello from cold Saskatchewan, Canada. This probably wasn't the best time of year to buy a Jaguar and plan on driving it regularly but couldn't resist the appeal and picked up a 92 VandenPlas. I've had it for 2 weeks, and drove it for 3 days. Have spent the rest of my time searching the xj-40 archives to sort out my ignition woes. Some great info there so thanks in advance for all of that... but she still isn't running so I'll have to post a question. Admittedly, I haven't done much on it, -30 C here before wind chill and I don't have a garage!

Welcome to the forum rubytuesday,

-30 C. I hope the summers are really great to compensate!

Good to hear you've already found useful information here to help with your VdP so there's be no need to give you a link to the XJ40 tech section. Post your question about the ignition issue there.

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You may also like to visit the Canada Region section by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/canada-mexico-south-america-41/ to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the VdP and the forum.

Graham
