Default New Series 1 XJ6 owner from Boise, Idaho

Hello all, I am the proud new owner of a 1973 Series 1 XJ6. I have always wanted a Jaguar, well for a while anyway. My mom dated a guy about 10 years or so ago the used to mechanic and was at one point in time one of the only (if not THE only) certified Jaguar mechanics in Idaho. Or at least S. Idaho... Anyway, he got me into them and I finally got my first one. I have owned quite a few other cars for my age, 25, and love to work on and rebuild them. Among our others is a 2004 Ram, which my wife drives, a 1963 Rambler American, a 1949 Dodge Coronet, and a 1965 Ford F100. We love cars and more importantly the less common a car is the better. The XJ6 I got isn't currently running, however we have it narrowed down to the fuel system, we just need to find out what exactly. I will post some pictures of it tonight and I look forward to being a part of this forum!

Hello and welcome to jaguarforums.com.

If you haven’t already you need to put your car details in your signature. I am speaking of the Year, Make & Model. Without it you may not get the input you are looking for. To do this go to, User CP, Edit Signature, Add Vehicle Details and such and Save Your Signature.

Please take a moment and read the information provided to you explaining the rules. Be patient and enjoy the site.

Also, should you have questions related to your vehicle please post it in the section for your model year (MY) car. This way you will reach all the members that are familiar with your MY car.
